A LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR’S PTA
It’s hard to believe, but it is almost that time of the school year again. Our 2016-2017 Nominating Committee has begun work to fill positions for next year’s PTA Executive Team. A PTA can be no more effective than its leadership. The Nominating Committee is a special committee and holds the key to a successful PTA. Its responsibility is to present the best qualified nominees for office.
The PTA Nominating Committee is currently accepting nominations for all executive board positions. The committee reviews all applicants and then selects the best candidates to slate for officers. These slate of officers is then presented by the nominating committee and voted by general membership elections. If you know of a dedicated, qualified parent who might be a good candidate and interested in the position for the 2016-2017 school year, please contact one of the committee members listed below.
